Fahad Hossain Fahim
Fahad Hossain Fahim (born August 13, 2000) is a fledging Bangladeshi wordsmith and a visionary story-writer. His debut short story 'Ekti Sahid Minar Sristir Itihas', published in 2021 by Jolodhi, won the Jolodhi Literature Award 2021. He is the recipient of National Taqi Padak, and winner of Ruchi Beautigram Season 4. He participates in Commonwealth Short Story Prize 2023 (Asia Region). Born and brought up in Narayanganj district, currently he enrolls for BSc.A.H.(Hons) degree in Animal Husbandry at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. He harbors a strong interest in climate diplomacy and aims to pursue a career as a diplomat of Government Republic of Bangladesh. One of his poems, 'Living Soul with Million Sorrows, has made its way into the pages of an Indian magazine, capturing the essence of suffering of orphaned children living on the streets. He is the co-author of several books, and has had poetries, short stories, and short communications published in anthologies, journals and other outlets. His writing often draws on the history, culture, liberation war and legitimate landscape of Bangladesh.
