Dauntless Maximus

Dauntless Maximus, as revealed by "Ask Vector Prime", was the identical brother of Superion Maximus in Transformers: Energon. One of the four guardians of the Super Energon pool in the depths of Cybertron, he went dormant alongside his brother, Constructicon Maximus, and Bruticus Maximus. Many ages later, Megatron discovered the pool and, seeking its power, killed Dauntless in order to open it. His efforts proved successful, allowing the Decepticons to access it. Later, an apparition of Dauntless inexplicably appeared to save Superion from being killed by Bruticus, allowing Superion to launch a counterattack that resulted in both their deaths after that of Constructicon.
