Boulder is a character from the Transformers franchise introduced in Transformers: Rescue Bots.

History

Boulder is a heroic Autobot, and should not be confused with the Rock Lords character of the same name.

Animated series

Boulder is a member of the Rescue Bots, specifically squad Sigma-17, who ended up in stasis alongside his teammates Heatwave, Chase, and Blades while on a mission away from Cybertron. Their craft was eventually brought to Earth after it received a signal from Optimus Prime, who soon assigned Boulder and his teammates a new mission: working with a crew of emergency responders on the island of Griffin Rock. Boulder was paired with Graham Burns as part of an engineering team, operating as Graham's bulldozer and using his humanoid form to aid in other projects. Boulder quickly developed an appreciation for Earth's architectural and natural wonders, developing a love for plant and animal life while also cultivating an appreciation for art (similar to Transformers: Animated Bulkhead).
