Blue Jet is a fictional character from the Machine Robo series. He is a heroic Machine Robo introduced in 1983 as Jet Robo, but was renamed Blue Jet in 1986 for Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos.

Machine Robo

A young warrior of the Jet Tribe, Blue Jet transforms into a Drill Tank and stands 6 feet 4 inches tall. He was born in mining town of Iron City. He trained under Master Kirai Stol along side his friends Blue Jet and Rom Stol. He uses a bare fist form of Tenku Chushin Ken martial arts. He has a bright, happy-go-lucky personality and adores Rom's sister Leina Stol. He can be cranky if woken up early, and is secretly afraid of snakes and spiders. His weapons include Ionoid Super Drill, a pair of tonfas and his Blazer Cannon.

The design of the Machine Robo Rescue character Jet Robo was directly based on Blue Jet.

Reception

Animated series

Blue Jet is in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode #1

Blue Jet was one of the main characters in the animated series Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos. He first appeared in episode #1, "Rising Storm! The Fighting Style of Justice!". He aided his friends and fellow martial arts students Rom Stol and Rod Drill in rescuing Leina Stol and Triple Jim from Devil Satan 6.[1]

Blue Jet appeared in episode #27 of Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos, called "Mask Rock, Knight of the Magical Mountain". In the episode Blue Jet was part of a Yamilan City volunteer group lead by Rom Stol that went to retrieve the cure for Gyandlar rust poison gas which had effected Leina Stol and some school children.

Blue Jet fought in the final attack on the Gyandlar in episode #44, "Cronos' Last Battle". He chooses to leave Cronos at the end of the series with Bike Robo, Rod Drill and others.
