Azimuth lived before the Great War divided the Transformers into Autobot and Decepticon factions, and was the leader of a movement known as the Patterners who were dedicated to order. They were opposed by the chaos-worshipping adherents of Galvatron until many of them perished as a result of installing radioactive elements into their bodies, while Galvatron himself faded into obscurity.
