Aron Govil is an American businessman of Indian origin. He is the Chairman & CEO of Ducon Group, an international conglomerate, whose companies are involved globally in industrial engineering, construction, environmental control, material handling, infrastructure and entertainment.[1][2][3]

Career

Govil is a graduate of The City University of New York with a BE in Chemical Engineering. He also has an MBA in finance, a P.E. engineering license and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering.

In 2007, Govil was honored by USPAACC with the 2007 Excellence Award for his outstanding achievements in Business & Entrepreneurship.

In 2011, Govil was named among the 25 most influential Indians in North America by Global Indian Organization.

Embodying entrepreneurial excellence and turning barriers into breakthroughs, Govil has gained worldwide prominence through his Ducon Group, which is the largest corporate group in the Untied States owned by anyone who is of Indian origin. It has also been ranked as the leading Indian-owned company in the U.S.A. by India Times based on annual revenue. His group is involved in energy, environment, electronics, entertainment, engineering and infrastructure fields globally.

Govil has produced, financed, and even directed numerous Bollywood and Hollywood films.

Govil has recently wrote a book on the state of politics in the U.S. Additionally, he's also been named among the 25 most influential Indians in North America by Global Indian Organization and Person of the Year by G.I. magazine.
