He holds multiple degrees in Political Science, Psychology, and Law from prestigious institutions, including Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. Furthermore, he received an MBA from the FOM University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He began with roles in various sectors, from a flight attendant at Lufthansa AG to journalism at ZDF's WISO editorial office and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange focusing on Public and Investor Relations. Transitioning to business management, he served as Managing Director at Asian Capital & Equity Ltd. in Hong Kong, and Scottee Mobility GmbH in Germany, spearheading initiatives in IT, marketing, and corporate governance. As CEO and Director at iCrowdU Inc., USA, from 2015 to 2019, Holtermann pioneered a novel web-based crowdfunding and sales model. He also led the development of a blockchain-based cryptocurrency, the CrowdToken, showcasing his innovative approach to financial technology. As head of IT Operations, he served at VTB Bank Europe SE where he was responsible for business applications as well as the bank’s core banking system.[3][5][6][7]

Holtermann's expertise in AI and technology was evident during his tenure as Trendscout and Head of Innovations at Fincon Reply GmbH, Hamburg, Germany.
