Philip Woolfson (born 23 December 1955) is a corporate lawyer based in Brussels, described as "a leading practitioner in EU and French insurance law."[1] He is one of the editors of The Encyclopedia of Insurance Law. He is a partner in the Brussels office of the law firm Steptoe & Johnson, and heads its financial services team.[2] He earned a master's degree in European law at the College of Europe 1981–1982 and is licensed as a solicitor in Scotland and as an advocate (barrister) in Belgium and France.[3]
