Tymofii Soloviov (born September 24, 1999, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, journalist, and volunteer. He is the founder and head of RC STORE, a company that produces and sells FPV quadcopters, ready-made RC models, and related products. Tymofii Soloviov was one of the first in Ukraine to began working with FPV drones before the full-scale invasion and tested them with Ukrainian military personnel.

Biography

Tymofii Soloviov was born on September 24, 1999, in Bobrynets, Kirovohrad Oblast. He started programming at the age of 14 and became interested in aeromodelling at 15, which later evolved into his business.

In 2016, he founded RC STORE, specializing in the import and sale of quadcopters and UAVs. Since then, he has collaborated with volunteers and military personnel involved in the fighting in Eastern Ukraine. Soloviov has invested 1.5 million UAH in the production of FPV drones in Ukraine, including carbon frames and other components.

In 2017, Soloviov became an official dealer of DJI drones in Ukraine. Although he introduced AUTEL drones, this direction did not yield the expected results. However, during the Russian full-scale invasion that started in 2022, they replaced drones that posed a threat to Ukrainian pilots due to enemy tracking capabilities.

Soloviov played a key role in introducing FPV drones in Ukraine both before the Russian invasion in 2022 and after the full-scale war with Russia. He decided to popularize FPV drones in Ukraine by signing contracts with leading manufacturers such as BETAFPV and GEPRC. Their ready-made training kits simplified the start for beginners and gained popularity through YouTube reviews.

Since 2021, he has been a journalist and deputy head of the Kyiv regional branch of the information agency "Journalists Against Corruption."

Since the start of the major war between Russia and Ukraine, Solovyov, together with volunteers, has donated over 500 quadcopters to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In early 2023, Tymofii worked on training drones for the military, which became an important tool for training FPV drone operators in military schools such as Boryviter, Victory Drones, and Global Drone.

Major Ukrainian TV channels, including ICTV and Inter, have reported on Solovyov's successful activities and his company, RC STORE, which produces unmanned combat aerial vehicles (drones) for the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

As of 2024, Soloviov is developing his video transmitters, video receivers, and controllers, which are planned to be mass-produced at costs comparable to those in China.

In 2024, leading global FPV drone brands recognized Soloviov 's company as the number one customer for FPV spectrum mechanisms. Ukraine surpassed the USA in procurement, becoming the largest customer.
