Personal view and approaches

Miles strongly values the concept of understanding, as she believes it plays a crucial role in achieving success. In her professional endeavors, she focuses on cultivating emotional intelligence to drive positive outcomes and foster an empathetic culture.

The ability to comprehend and empathize is seen as the cornerstone of achieving success. Miles attributes her early development of this skill to observing her mother's resilience in the face of challenges. Additionally, her father, an entrepreneur, instilled in her a love for comprehending the intricacies of human nature. These early influences have shaped Miles's professional journey, propelling her to become a leading figure in the field of emotional intelligence and personal growth.

The Listening Path

The Listening Path is an approach to teaching transformational listening developed by Christine Miles. Miles introduced the concept in 2021, in her book "What Is It Costing You Not to Listen? The Power of Understanding to Connect, Influence, Solve & Sell."[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

EQuipt’s proprietary Listening Path® is a revolutionary approach that allows you to understand not just what is being said, but also what remains unspoken. This technique equips individuals and teams with the ability to align their offerings more closely with the needs of clients and stakeholders. The Listening Path® Tools are categorized into three main levels: Foundational, Specialty, and Technical. Each tool added to your "listening backpack" enhances your ability to navigate complex conversations, manage conflict, and negotiate effectively.

The book describes The Listening Path as method of teaching transformative listening. The method is used to teach individuals on ways to improve their listening skills in their personal and professional life.[8][9][10][11][12]

Miles also teaches this method in workshops to companies, universities, and other organizations.[13]
