Mahmoud Alikhani Koshkak is an Iranian politician and religious figure, currently serving as the Friday prayer leader. Born on September 6, 1979, in Nowshahr, Mazandaran, Mahmoud Alikhani has made significant contributions to education, religious studies, and research.

Education and Academic Journey

Following the completion of his secondary education, Mahmoud Alikhani Koshkak enrolled in the religious seminary in Nowshahr to pursue higher studies. He laid the foundation of his knowledge there before advancing to the first level of the religious seminary in Bushahr in 2000. Seeking to deepen his expertise beyond jurisprudence and principles, he then moved to Qom, where he completed advanced levels in the field.

Alikhani's notable mentors in Qom include renowned figures such as Naser Makarem Shirazi, Jafar Sabhani Tabrizi, Hossein Nouri Hamedani, Abdullah Javadi Amoli, Seyyed Rassoul Musavi Tehrani, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, and Ali Rabani Golpayegani.

Driven by a passion for theological discussions across sects and religions, Alikhani pursued a master's degree at the University of Religions and Denominations in Qom. Continuing his academic journey, he earned a Ph.D. from the same institution. Additionally, he holds a doctoral degree from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
