Introducing King Taper: A Multi-Dimensional Artist and Entrepreneur

King Taper, born and raised in St. Louis, has emerged as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. Growing up, he had a passion for music but was hesitant to pursue it due to the limited success stories of artists from his hometown. Instead, he found himself delving into the streets where he learned valuable lessons about business and some of life’s harshest realities.

However, a turning point came when King Taper decided to make a change and explore a career in barbering. He opened his first shop, 180 degrees Barber & Beauty Salon, while attending barber college. The success of his shop and his newfound passion for entertainment led him to embark on a tour with New Edition as a merchandise and photography representative.

Returning to St. Louis after getting kicked off the tour, King Taper got involved with a local entertainment show called Sexy N STL, which further fueled his desire to be a part of the entertainment industry. He then made a bold move to Los Angeles, where he rekindled his passion for barbering at prestigious salons such as 360 Atelier on Melrose and Michael John Salon inside Equinox Sports Club LA which transformed King Taper from a master barber, to a celebrity barber, to an esteemed clientele, including celebrities like Magic Johnson, Mel Gibson, Metta World Peace, and Nelly.

However, in 2019, recognizing the need for financial stability for himself and within the barbering and beauty industry, King Taper aspired to empower grooming professionals by offering affordable healthcare programs and financial options through his organization, “The Barber & Beauty Alliance of America." That same year he also authored a financial novel, "Ten Cut Commandments," aimed at imparting financial wisdom to his peers but was thwarted by depression and lack of inspiration stemming from the 2020 pandemic.

In 2021, after regrouping from the pandemic King Taper took a leap into the music industry, releasing singles like Terrific., Mis Chakras and I WANT DRAKE SPOT.

In 2022, he rekindled his love for traveling and philanthropy with his free haircuts for kids campaign Haircuts Heal him into 2023, King Taper continued to expand his diverse portfolio. Apart from establishing his own smoke shop, barber salon suites, and recording studios called Forever Faded Studios in St. Louis, he has also released his first comic book titled "SUPER TAPER - Barber by Trade… Superhero by Nature."

With his undeniable talent, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to empowering others, King Taper is a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment and grooming industries. Keep an eye out for him as he continues to push boundaries and make his mark.
