George GStar
George “Gstar” is an American rapper, businessman, and philanthropist. He owns a variety of businesses in multiple fields, including real estate, scrap metal recycling, logistics, and oil and gas.[1][2] His debut EP, Dark World, is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2021.[2]
Early Life
Gstar was born in New York on November 22, 1992. He grew up in a single mother household with his mother working multiple jobs to put food on the table.[3][4] Gstar had a difficult childhood and was involved in violent incidents, resulting in a stint in a juvenile detention program.[3][5] Gstar was also a nationally ranked amateur boxer during his youth.[6]
Gstar attended the City University of New York, where he almost failed out, but with the help of a student advisor who believed in him, he passed and was able to graduate. It was during this time that real wealth and the pursuit of fame at any cost began to enter his mind. Gstar resolved to never work for another person again and decided to become an entrepreneur.[3]
Gstar starred in a YouTube channel, which helped him become more popular on social media.[7] He relocated to California after he was offered a chance to star in a reality television series, but declined.
Gstar may have a twin brother, as reported by several sources.[8][9]
Career
Gstar became a millionaire after starting a successful garbage collection and scrap metal business.[6] He also accumulated real estate holdings in Miami, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, New York, and Costa Rica. His personal real estate portfolio is estimated to be worth more than $65 million. He was able to build up his real estate assets by capitalizing on distressed markets during the Miami housing crisis in 2008.[10]
Gstar also owns businesses in industries such as marketing, personal lending, and CBD.[8] Through all of his business ventures, Gstar has accumulated a net worth of around $150-180 million.[10] He also owns a number of websites that generate more than $45 million in yearly profits.[3]
Music career
Gstar built up his audience as a musician by posting rap tracks to SoundCloud. Due to his social media popularity and friendships with several hip hop artists, he was able to land a record deal.[11] His music is influenced by a wide variety of artists from Tommy Lee and Nirvana to XXXTentacion.[12]
His debut single “Dark World” was announced in December 2020,[13] and the music video for the single is expected to premiere in late 2021 or early 2022.[14]
