Zain Ullah (born 4th July 2001) is a war documentary director, journalist and actor from Manchester, United Kingdom prominently known for playing Micheal Soprano in the horror film 'Maya' (2022) on Vimeo Movies and for directing the documentary which is filmed in the Iraq war zone called 'Life After War: Iraq' (2023) which gained international media coverage.

Career

Zain Ullah directed & produced the documentary called Life After War: Iraq’ and has a interview in place with a minister member of Saddam Hussein’s inner circle. The documentary tells the story of The Second Persian Gulf War, also known as the Iraq War, which was a U.S.-British invasion of Iraq, on the pretext that dictator Saddam Hussein was building weapons for mass destruction.[1]

Zain Ullah also created the documentary called Manchester in the 1970s which has a 2022 British Manchester based story line which is documented and directed by Zain Ullah, produced by Jordan Kay and written by Yaqoub Hossaini. The documentary features Zain Ullah, Minal Ali Khan, Jayson Singh and Corey Walker as the other cast. The documentary tells the story about life in the late 1970s & the quality of life.[2]

He is also the lead actor in the film called ‘Maya’ which is filmed in greater Manchester, United Kingdom and is currently in the pre- production stage of his new documentary which will air in 2023.[3]

Books

In the middle of July 2022, British Actor Zain Ullah released 2 new books surrounding the documentaries he has created. Manchester in the 1970s is the book written by Zain which is based on the British documentary filmed and directed by Zain Ullah (Actor). The book gives a deep insight about life in early Manchester and interviews people from abroad and what difficulties ethnic minorities faced when they first arrived to work and start a life in a new country. The second book ‘The Pictures Of The Iraq War’ was released in August 2022 is a collage of pictures surround the invasion of America into Iraq to overthrow the regime of Saddam Hussein. [5]
