Gold Op
Gold Op is a fictional character made by KOtoys as a third party Transformer. He is an homage to Generation 1 Optimus Prime.
KOLD
Gold Op is an homage the 1984 Transformers character Optimus Prime. His gold colors are a reference to the episode of The Transformers called "The Golden Lagoon" where Optimus Prime covered himself with electrum.
According to his tech specs Gold Op is incredibly strong, intelligent, tough, brave, skilled and packs massive firepower. He is also very fast.
Fictional biography
Covered in Electrum, Op is a beacon of hope to those who suffer under the tyranny of the Decepticons. He Fearlessly leads his Autobots into battle knowing they can not be stopped. The decepticons are blinded and cower asd the sight of the shining, blazing leader... knowing thier time is near. When freedom is threatened, he is an unstoppable force, a mighty defender of justice and right.

- KOLD LE-01 Voyager Gold Op (2010)
- An unlicensed recolor based on the Classic Optimus Prime mold, but mostly covered in gold colored vacuum chrome.
- Like all KOLD toys based on the Classic Voyager Optimus Prime toy there is a flaw in the windvane gun placing one mounting holes in the wrong place.
- The box art for all the KOLD Konvoy toys is based on art by Mike Ruthless for his Transformers: Oblivion comic.[1]
