FedEx Express Flight 6238 was a scheduled international flight on May 8, 2024, from Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris, to Istanbul Airport in Istanbul. After two previous missed approaches, the front nose-gear remained retracted, resulting in a crash landing with fire.[1][2][3]

The Boeing 767-3S2F was a nine and half years old aircraft delivered to FedEx in 2014. The registration number is N110FE along with the serial number, 43542 LN:1074. The first flight was recorded on November 24, 2014.[4][5]
