Omar Rivero is a digital entrepreneur and political activist based in Miami, Florida. He is the Founder and CEO of Tribel and Occupy Democrats, known for his innovative contributions to social media and political advocacy.
Early Life and Education
Omar Rivero completed his Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University (2006-2009). He further pursued a Master’s in European Business from ESCP Business School (2010-2011). He also attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City for Business Administration (2005-2006).
Career Path
Occupy Democrats
In November 2012, Omar, along with Rafael Rivero, founded Occupy Democrats. This political organization and news website was created to counterbalance the Republican Tea Party. Occupy Democrats has since grown into the largest and most active community of Democratic voters worldwide, leading resistance against President Trump and his radical supporters.
Tribel
In August 2021, Omar Rivero founded Tribel, a social media platform that connects people with similar interests and passions, empowering them to create and join communities that inspire positive change. Tribel has garnered over 600,000 users, emphasizing an optimal user experience for content creators and everyday users.

Omar was also the founder of Liker, a project he led from August 2019 to 2022.
